About Tina Magee
Tina Magee, former court reporter, school teacher turned therapist, is now a self-inspired author. Much like the protagonist in her debut novel, Tina's journey to a life of blissfulness also came with many prayers, hard work, belief in herself and in God.
As a child growing up in South-Central L.A., her days were spent living in a world of make-believe. In order to escape from her desolate surroundings, making up cheery little stories to entertain herself is how she learned to cope. Now through her own life experiences – dejection and rejection, multiple careers, and a failed marriage – she was inspired to write her own soul-stirring novel to share with others who may be going through pain of their own.
Remarried and extremely happy, Tina says that her healing did not begin until she took a good look deep down in her soul and saw the God living on the inside of her for the first time. Tina Magee has a B.S. in Business Administration from Strayer University, and a M.A. in Human Services and Counseling from Regent University. She is an active member of Metropolitan AME Church, the proud mother of five, and lives in Virginia with her husband.
